The new cafe established specifically for guests of the Golden Jubilee has been a great success. Guests and sangha members from around the world are gathering in this wonderful meeting destination. Everyone enjoys the tea, delicious cappuccinos and other hot drinks and snacks all completely free of charge, offered by the monastery to all guests.

The space was originally used as cow shed in the early days of the monastery and once this fact was discovered by the western sangha members they affectionately started calling it the Buffalo Cafe. Lama Phuntsog la, one of the Managers of Mindrolling, has done a wonderful job of renovating the space. The service is excellent and it is greatly appreciated by all.
